Bored As Hell Season 2 has returned, and I had the joy of making my debut appearance in the series — playing a bit part as a Puritan at a barbecue. The show is written and directed by the wildly imaginative Kevon Ward, and stars Heath Heine, who continues his reign as Satan with perfect balance of menace and comedy.
In this episode, we were preparing to burn a witch. You know, typical neighborhood cookout energy. My character was riled up, offended, and full of misplaced righteousness. It was a blast.
Kevon crafted a pilgrim hat for me that didn’t quite fit. I said, “Sorry I have a big head,” and he immediately shot back, “Yeah, you do.” Nothing like a little roast before the witch burning.
Jumping into Kevon’s twisted and hilarious world was the perfect kind of chaos. Between the fire, costumes, and makeup, I couldn’t have asked for a better first episode. Blessed be the grill.
