Friday, June 13 marks the final live performance of The Dads Comedy Show at Chaos Bloom Theater.
What started as a group of friends riffing on the quirks of our real-life dads became a long-running monthly sketch show, with new material written and performed every time. Along the way, we found a unique rhythm — blending character-driven comedy, absurd premises, and live storytelling.

Thank You, Chaos Bloom
We're deeply grateful to Chaos Bloom Theater for giving us a home stage. Their support of indie comedy and commitment to giving artists room to experiment has meant everything. We never took for granted the opportunity to try new things, take risks, and grow in front of a live audience.
The Cast
The Dads started with me, Jack, and Sam, and Ben joined in 2023. At our busiest, we were doing two to three shows a month. Each of us brought unique energy and talents that helped shape the show, and every month brought something different — which kept it fun.
What's Next?
While this is the last live show in its current form, The Dads isn’t going away. There are still new sketches to write, ideas to explore, and stories to tell. This show marks the end of a chapter, not the end of the book.
Moving forward, The Dads will focus on being a digital-only brand for the time being, with some seasonal live shows and new stories. It was never our goal to be a derivative of "SNL with no money" — we want to carve our own path. As you’ve seen through our multimedia projects, we aim to be a story-based collective creating premise-driven sketches with recurring and new characters. We’ll continue to push ourselves and use a rotating cast to keep things fresh.
Thanks to everyone who came to a show, supported us from afar, or laughed along the way. See you soon.
