Welcome to an album from an alternate dimension where taste took a backseat and chaos held the aux cord. Now That’s What I Call Shitty Music Vol. 1 is a genre-bending mess of songs nobody asked for — and somehow, they still slap.

From a sultry ballad about pancakes in bed, to a breakup song that somehow makes it all your fault, to a mythical folk-rap about a cryptic mythological figure named Old Leroy — this is music at its most unhinged. There’s also an accidental anthem about pooping your pants, a German electronic track with too much energy and not enough meaning, a song about staring into the sun, and a rapper who really loves Denny’s… but isn't good at rapping.
